Come On Over, Baby

I introduce to the world: Jared Ian! He is my nephew and I philosophize that he will be a wise one when he grows old and wrinkly.  Already, he holds his two little hands together and just ponders his surroundings and the people around him.  He is a thinker.  The thinkers are the good ones.  I have so much faith in this kid.  You will never understand how much.  An angel has been sent after one has been taken away.
I’m off to dress him up and go on a stroll.  Afterwards, I am going to go see Walk the Moon live!   Await the updates.

Let Me Explain

I know I promised a fashion blog.  But, let me explain the reasoning behind this post.
I made a jolly trip downtown today and picked up a few of my favorite magazines for the upcoming month.  I decided I needed some inspiration so I plan on making a mood board for the sunny month of June.  Here are a few of my pick-ups:

Now, here is where the story gets a bit satirical.  I come home, turn on some Frank Sinatra, browse through my camera, and suddenly find these photos of my charming and witty crony:

I apologize on her behalf, and hope that there is someone so wonderful as to appreciate these!
And with this, I bid you adieu.

Do You Have a Wish?

There’s no denying that we need peace in this world.  For Yoko Ono, peace has been something that she has been searching for long before her interactive artwork WISH TREE (1996).

“As a child in Japan, I used to go to a temple and write out a wish on a piece of thin paper and tie it around the branch of a tree. Trees in temple courtyards were always filled with people’s wish knots, which looked like white flowers blossoming from afar.”
Yoko Ono: “All My Works Are A Form Of Wishing”.

She advises you to make your own wish!

John Lennon told us to imagine a world with peace.  Can we imagine that?  What do you imagine?  Could a world exist with peace?  They say there is an opposite to everything.  Therefore, if peace exists then violence exists by default.  So, the result?
